Creamy – Tangy – Tasty
Snowdonia Cheese is a very popular Welsh vegetarian Cheddar with a creamy texture and full flavour, known as Black Bomber. This rich Welsh cheese is made by a cooperative of farmers who blend their cheddars to produce this tasty, creamy cheese. It has been highly successful, often sold as 250g or 500g wax-covered truckles under the name Black Bomber, but it is also available as a 1kg large cheese from which you can have a slice. The rich cheddar flavour is enhanced by the creamy texture of Snowdonia. The blending process provides the farmers with more control over the consistency of the flavour, as cheese can vary depending on the time of year or the feed used. Suitable for vegetarians, it is made with pasteurised milk.
