A farmhouse produced cheese that is like the swiss style Emmental cheese but of Dutch origins. The maturing period is part of the process of creating this delicious cheese. Aged for a short period of time, maximum four weeks. It is creamy, nutty, it has a soft texture with a smooth finish, great for melting such as a cheese fondue.
